Increase the number of teaching artists for YouthCity programs, as well as arts education opportunities for adult learners.

Scope and begin drafting a Strategic Plan for the Youth and Family Division to ensure the City is effectively serving our youth and not duplicating other community programs.

Support The Other Side Village’s plans for site remediation and push to get homes ready by winter 2023-24.

Establish the framework and relationships with SLC Stakeholders to develop a Public Lands Foundation/Conservancy to leverage innovative public-private partnerships and collaborations.

Work with county, state, and service provider partners to implement takeaways from the Miami Model, providing services and housing options for people with serious mental health needs who are also experiencing homelessness.

Begin Green Loop design, including a festival street concept between Washington and Library Squares, and complete a demonstration project to initiate the public engagement process.

Complete the Neighborhood Byway Design Guidebook and finish design and/or construction of at least four neighborhood byways throughout the city.

Support Governor’s proposed budget to pilot fareless public transit across the state.

Work with community partners and the Utah Inland Port Authority on next steps for a Health Impact Assessment, Community Impact Assessment, and traffic study.

Identify funding sources or other support for workforce programs to assist them in expanding their reach in the City.

Implement action items on the Vision Zero program to reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities.

Seek approval from City Council for major investment in the Perpetual Housing Fund of Utah to create affordable housing for families and individuals that builds generational wealth.

Work with UDOT to advocate for preventing the elimination of any homes or businesses in the city as they pursue I-15 expansion.
